Merchant Business Development and Sales for PayPal Ads (Advanced Offers Platform).
In late 2023 PayPal launched PayPal Ads – a new advertising platform allowing for merchants and consumers to come together in our refreshed consumer app. The PayPal Ads platform connects PayPal shoppers with leading brands.
PayPal is looking for a seasoned seller to join our fast-growing Ads business. The new Manager Partnership Sales & Marketing role is central to bringing PayPal's merchant partners onto the platform. The primary role of the Manager Partnership Sales & Marketing is prospecting, business development, and sales to a specified list of PayPal merchant partners. In this role you will leverage strong industry connections to identify opportunities for enterprise and mid-market brands to showcase Offers across PayPal Surfaces and marketing channels.
The opportunity is to drive sales, increase market share, shift of wallet and measure impact of the merchant’s investment in true ROI.

In this role you must also be adept at leveraging data driven insights and a consultative sales approach to produce a successful pitch and ultimately results. You are passionate about selling solutions that make a significant and measurable impact on your customer’s bottom line.
Responsibilities:
Leverage your experience and connections in sales to exceed revenue targets.
Prospecting to your book of business, pitching for successful close
Work well cross-functionally with AdOps, Sales, Marketing and other important teams
Generate a pipeline across key brand verticals including Retail, Home and Garden, Beauty, Travel, Electronics, Groceries and Dining
Build effective and long-lasting relationships with brand-side stakeholders at Director+/VP levels, becoming a trusted advisor.
Minimum Qualifications
Digital advertising sales, or payments sales with 8+ years of meeting and exceeding revenue targets.
Card-Linked Offer Sales/Management preferred
Breaking and growing business by developing long-term strategic partnerships.
Leveraging CRM tools to create and manage a pipeline that is consistently updated and accurate.
Data-driven selling, and you’re comfortable with business and media performance metrics.
Influencing decisions up and across an organization through excellent listening, verbal and written communication, and presentation skills.
This is a Remote position, minimal travel required.
