As part of the Commercial Trade Lane Development program, this position will be responsible for the active development, implementation and execution of strategy for the assigned countries within the Trade Lane. This individual will work with the stakeholders representing Global, Regional, Country, product and local management to ensure GP growth and the financial success of the Trade Lane and will actively engage in customer acquisition and the sell of Hellmann services to customers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:- Oversees the development of sales strategy for the Trade Lane - Transatlantic.
- Responsible for prospecting, developing, and closing new business and the growth of existing business between the USA and the assigned countries within the trade lane.
- Works directly with the Commercial Organizations (Sales & Account Management) in the USA and the assigned countries, providing sales support, sales management, market updates, rates, and service-related support.
- Helps to develop new business strategies, conduct market analysis, and develop new and improved methods for selling Hellmann products.
- Provides input to management to respond to changing market conditions, to improve internal efficiencies and maximize results.
- Assists in developing marketing tools such as updated power point presentations, tariffs, and contributes updates to the Hellmann Global Circular.
- Performs maintenance of accounts to establish standards and ensure the customer is pleased with the Hellmann customer service/operations.
- Assists in overseas campaigns and overseas visitors' requirements.
- Supports and assists in the attainment of company goals and objectives aligned with the Hellmann Sales Strategy.
- Obtains Trade Lane specific rates for all Hellmann products and ensures all bids are sent in on time to Tender Management for proper completion.
- Prepares client quotations and presentation of proposals.
- Maintains client records by complete upload of information into Hellmann's CRM system.
- Prepares and sends sales reports as per company guidelines (i.e., Weekly Sales Call Report, CRM Target Data)
- Targets account acquisition. (Minimum 30 qualified targets per quarter).
- Provides monthly report to stakeholders regarding the development of new business, customers in jeopardy and corrective action plans.
- Serves as liaison between customer and operational staff.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES - Works directly with Sales, Sales Management and Account Management teams providing support, guidance, and direction where needed.
- Acts as a liaison between Operations, Sales, and Management regarding any/all trade lane activities.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE - Bachelor's degree or possess a minimum of (10) ten years related experience and/or training in sales, marketing, project development and customer service.
- Proven track record of increasing sales year over year.
- Minimum six years sales experience in freight forwarding.
- Proficient knowledge of all Hellmann products, and Partner network.
