- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, general contractors, subcontractors, and owners.
- Responsible for securing projects to bid, reviewing project plans, specifications, and contract documents.
- Estimate all necessary labor, materials, buyout items, and equipment costs to prepare a thorough price estimate.
- Preform on-site coordination of manpower, materials, and equipment.
- Request material needed for scope of work.
- Read, understand, and interpret plans and specifications as required and check work accordingly to specifications.
- Maintain high level of safety and adherence to all safety policies and procedures for craft personnel and subcontractors.
- Prepare and executes estimates for change orders required on projects.
- Plan day to day operations, as well as work with management to forecast schedules.
- Work with cost team to ensure accurate costing and evaluate overall project performance.
- Lead through change and adversity, both with internal and external personnel.
