The Packaging Supervisor for second shift is responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing team performance, and ensuring that work processes are carried out efficiently and effectively. This role involves coordinating tasks, monitoring progress, and providing guidance to team members to achieve organizational goals. The Supervisor also ensures compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality expectations.
· Supervise and coordinates activities such as work procedures, employee rotation, work schedules, and attendance
· Evaluate employee performance and recommends hiring or termination decisions
· Coordinates with management to ensure production activities are as efficient as possible
· Enforce company safety, break & lunch policies
· Actively seek to resolve any concerns while adhering to the company policy and standards of behavior
· Tracks and communicates employee performance and provides disciplinary / corrective action as needed
· Train and coach other operators and line employees to maintain high efficiency with minimal downtime
· Coordinates with management to ensure production activities are as efficient as possible
· Ensure all packaging equipment is in operational condition
· Establish tasks for employees to ensure a clean workplace
· Document down time and lost efficiency
· Ensure quality guidelines for products are followed
· Enforce all FDA and company guidelines
· Assist with Continuous Improvement
· Maintain LOTO certification
· Review and assist with all quality control documents
· Ensure Food Safety of Production
· Communicate with all cross functional shift activities from other shifts to operations team daily
· Perform miscellaneous duties as required by management

Experience: Must have experience in providing directions to employees and operating and diagnosing equipment
Preferred Skills
Must be able to communicate with both direct report employees and management
Must have an understanding of FDA guidelines and company policies.
Mathematical skills
Bilingual is preferred
