We are searching for a Strategic Account Executive to join our market leading, Cloud-Native, Arena PLM solution team.
As a Strategic Account Executive, your role is to drive the expansion of Arena’s PLM and QMS Solutions into the Medical Device and Life Sciences segments in North America.
Primary responsibilities and expectations:
- Support the expansion of the Arena business into the Medical Device and Life Sciences segments in North America.
- Achieve assigned revenue targets by selling Arena’s line of solutions and services to enterprise market leaders.
- Build executive relationships at target accounts - building the trust & sponsorship needed to move sales cycles forward to closure.
- Provide sales strategy to cross-functional sales team resources (sales, presales specialists, product development, and global services)
- Drive and manage the entire sales cycle – from identifying the right business initiatives, building a competitive value proposition, and negotiating through close & execution.
- Deliver the value proposition for Arena PLM effectively - articulating benefits and ROI.
- Work with an assigned outbound business development rep to identify target companies to approach for new business sales cycles as well as assisting with their execution of email and call campaigns.
- Utilize SalesForce.com for lead management, sales forecasting, and recording of key sales activities.
- Meet quarterly new business sales quotas.
Requirements:
- 7-10 years of successful new business sales to Medical Device & Life Sciences companies.
- Self-starter, results driven, motivated, creative, and resourceful.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience or apprentice training.
- Consistent, successful SaaS Application Sales Experience.
- Able to learn technical product information and articulate the value of the solutions for a customer and the positive business impact to them.
- Capable to work cross-functionally with other departments to deliver results on customer's behalf
- Wiliness to work in a team and goals driven
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Knowledge in quality management, design engineering, new product development & operational functions within innovative product companies
PTC carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, which may include the background and experience of all applicants, which can cause your compensation to vary. PTC anticipates the salary range for this position to be between $125,000-135,000. The actual pay may be lower or higher depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, this role might be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
