As an early Senior Account Executive hire, you will work directly with the Head of Business Development and the founding team to cultivate key client relationships and close new partners. You will have impact and responsibility from day one, building new partnerships, bringing new clients onboard, and working directly with the firm's existing partners to ensure client success. Your work will drive growth and shape the direction of the company, while continuing to lay the groundwork of ModernFi’s client-first culture.

The Role
Responsibilities
Meet or exceed revenue and booking goals with new bank and credit union partners
Play a pivotal role in achieving ModernFi’s ambitious revenue targets through strategic client engagement and partnerships
Maintain frequent, high-quality contact with the firm's clients and partners to ensure their ongoing success, acting as a senior point of contact and relaying critical feedback to the founding and product teams
Independently launch and drive major initiatives around partnerships and client growth, positioning yourself as each client's primary advocate within the firm
Maintain exceptional organization around client databases and calendars, and set a benchmark for Account Executive best practices including CRM utilization, meeting cadence, and communication touch points

About You
Experience working as an account executive or in partnerships in finance, banking, or technology
Track record of cultivating, closing, growing, and maintaining key, large-value client and/or partner relationships, ideally as the client's main point of contact
High level of organization and professionalism, and comfort with data-driven business development practices
Ability to handle nebulous problems and shifting priorities with flexibility, patience, and skill
Excited by the prospect of life- and career-changing work in a startup environment
High EQ, trustworthy, and calm under pressure
Interest in financial systems, markets, technology, and banking
5+ years of sales experience
