The Role:
- We are looking for 1 Senior Account Manager in Chicago, IL.
- As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our existing client base and potential customers, analyzing their business needs, and positioning our AWS and other technology solutions that fit the client's specific requirements.
- IO Connect Services is an AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner, a certified MuleSoft System Integrator Partner, a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Consulting Partner, and a member of the Datadog Partner Network. We have a robust team of AWS-certified professionals ready to deliver the right set of cloud technology solutions for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and target prospective clients who can benefit from AWS, MuleSoft, Datadog, and Salesforce software solutions, including both existing customers looking to expand their services and new business opportunities.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets, focusing on maximizing revenue and market share within the designated territory.
- Client Relationship Management: Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers at client organizations to understand their business challenges and propose appropriate solutions.
- Solution Consultation: Work collaboratively with technical and sales teams to provide expert consultation on our offerings, understanding customer needs, and tailoring the best-fit solutions to address those needs effectively.
- Proposal Preparation: Create comprehensive and compelling proposals, including cost estimates, timelines, and technical information, ensuring alignment with the client's objectives and budget.
- Negotiation and Contract Closure: Lead negotiation efforts to secure contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for both parties.
- Market Insights: Stay updated on industry trends, AWS/MuleSoft/Datadog/Salesforce product updates, and competitor activities to proactively identify opportunities and potential risks within the market.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Manage and maintain a healthy sales pipeline by tracking and updating sales activities, opportunities, and customer interactions in the CRM system.
- Sales Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, engineering, and sales support, to ensure seamless delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Performance Reporting: Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, performance metrics, and revenue projections to the management team.
Qualifications:
- Proven track record (preferably 10+ years) of success in B2B technology sales. Experience selling AWS or cloud-based solutions is a big plus.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Strong understanding of AWS services and solutions, as well as a general understanding of cloud and related technologies.
- A self-starter with a proactive and results-oriented approach to sales.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and proficiency in sales reporting and analysis.
- Passionate about technology, cloud computing, and staying informed about industry trends.
- Willingness to travel to client meetings and industry events as needed.
