Origami Risk is hiring a cohort of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to join our growing Sales and Business Development team. As a part of this cohort, you will be introduced to the basics of our sales processes and learn how to effectively present Origami Risk as a competitive software in the market to potential clients. This is an excellent pathway into a sales or business development career with Origami Risk long-term.
Reporting into the Inside Sales team, the Sales Development Representative (SDR) core responsibility will be to seek new business opportunities by fielding all inbound marketing leads. They will use their communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with potential clients. The best candidates will be highly motivated, results driven, and possess a competitive work drive.

Responsibilities
- Manage the Origami Inbox
- Handle all inbound Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs)
- Qualify & disqualify inbound MQLs through initial discovery calls to identify prospects needs and present Origami’s business value
- Follow a clear process for outreach using various methods (cold calling, cold emailing, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Maintain a consistent product-training regimen to stay current with all Origami functionality, market updates and value proposition. This could include self- study, engaging with marketing, attendance of client demonstrations and/or training with Sales leadership
- Conduct, document and maintain all activity within our Salesforce CRM to track activity, measure results, and ensure data integrity
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- Interest in pursuing a career in Sales and learning sales and business development techniques such as: cold calling, developing & executing email campaigns, and other inbound or outbound sales tactics
- Highly motivated, competitive, self-starter with a strong sense of urgency
- Interest in learning how to deliver a compelling message to business executives and leverage interest into an opportunity
