Job Overview:

Reporting to the VP – Business Development and Commercial Operations, we’re recruiting a Business Development Representative who wants to dedicate their skills, attention to detail, and collaborative attitude to selling a product and a company that works for the benefit of people everywhere.
The person filling this critical role should be respectful of and able to work effectively with all nature of diversity and should effectively respond with non-defensiveness and curiosity to interpersonal, process or content conflicts that may arise.
Objectives of this Role:
- Represent UnifyWork and our solutions, using comprehensive knowledge and research to explain our mission and how our solution meets customer needs.
- Generate leads and build relationships finding new sales opportunities via outbound activity and nurturing warm leads that come inbound.
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales lead in next steps.
- Identify best practices for refining the company’s lead-generation playbook.
- As we continue to grow and expand the team, there is the potential for the Business Development Representative to move into a leadership role.

Responsibilities:
- Utilize Salesforce, LinkedIn, cold calls, and email to generate new sales opportunities.
- Identify the needs of prospects and align UnifyWork's solution.
- Build long-term, trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities.
- Proactively and continually seek new business opportunities in the market.
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales lead.
- Utilize Salesforce to manage pipeline, activity, and results.
- Report to leadership on challenges, successes, and results.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 1-3+ years of experience in sales, with a track record of exceeding lead targets in SDR role.
- Experience using Salesforce and other sales tools (Sales Automation, Zoom, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Strong communication skills via phone and email/messaging.
- Proven, creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills.
- Strong desire and ability to move up within the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred, but not required if you have successful work experience.
