Job Description:
As an Account Executive you will increase revenue and market presence through effective selling into past, current and targeted customers. You will achieve growth objectives through prospecting, lead response and relationship building. You will evaluate customers’ needs, and will be supporting a Senior AE to develop solutions from concept to implementation.
Job Responsibilities:
- Achieve growth objectives through prospecting, lead response, and relationship building within Private Sector companies within the Mid-Tier, FTSE listed, and the UK Service Provider Market
- Qualify business opportunities by identifying scope of projects and initiatives, decision makers, stakeholders, and overall scope of opportunity
- Develop new account relationships
- Maintain and grow existing client revenues through cross-selling of ePlus core competencies
- Establish and maintain manufacturer/partner relationships to develop joint sales opportunities
- Develop and implement quarterly account marketing plan
- Provide monthly forecast and quarterly reviews for assigned territory,
- Own CRM updates, deal registrations and new partner and customer onboarding. Ensuring highest productivity output for virtual team (Senior AE and Applicant)
- Shadow and learn from Senior AE and put into practice learning on new and existing accounts
- Conduct business in a professional, competent and ethical manner
- 30% business travel is required

Job Knowledge/Skills:
- Up to 2+ years of successful technology sales experience
- Knowledge of e-business solutions environment
- Must demonstrate ability to qualify, penetrate, and close new accounts, directly with end customers.
- Excellent communication, presentation, problem-solving and time management skills
- Proven ability to leverage subject matter experts to further the sales process
- Possess ability to work independently – a self-starter, with ability to drive and own workloads
- Proficient use of MS tools, with a focus on Excel.
Education and Experience:
- Proven success selling to Managed Accounts at a decision maker level
- BA/BS in Business, Management, Computer Science or Engineering fields preferred
- Up to 2+ years of experience including selling technology solutions, such as Networking, Wireless, Security, Collaboration, Cloud etc
- VAR commercial sales experience preferred
Physical Requirements of Position:
Ability of finger dexterity to be used primarily to make small movements such as typing, picking up small objects or pinching fingers together. Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands and / or fingers. Speech ability must be at a level where one must convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly or quickly. Hearing ability must be at a level to hear average or normal conversations and receive ordinary information. Visual ability must be average with ordinary visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or products, or operate machinery. Physical strength for sedentary work with sitting most of the time. May have to exert or lift up to 10 – 20 pounds of force occasionally.
