The Channel Account Manager (CAM) is critical to expanding Flexera’s cloud footprint. The cloud migration market is highly complex and, as such, is currently dominated by System Integrators and Managed Service partners. We depend on our CAMs to establish/maintain relationships and manage these critical partners by providing them tools, trainings, and overall sales support required for them to be successful with our customers.
The CAM is responsible for meeting/exceeding an annual quota and accurately forecasting by month and quarter via a pipeline of opportunities that will ensure success.
This is accomplished by effective management of all channel and alliance partners, development of relationships with named accounts, a deep understanding of our product set, clear delivery of ROI cases to new and existing customers, management of internal Flexera technical resources to ensure customer satisfaction, and successful contract negotiation.
Our Cloud Migration Planning solution:
- Creates a global view of customers’ application estate while building a real-time map of cross application dependencies
- Monitors application workloads to create a workload placement recommendation that can be tuned based on customer individual requirements
The right candidate must have extensive experience managing channel partners and selling cloud-based software and services to enterprise customers with a documented track record of retiring multi-million-dollar quotas.
To assess fit, here is a partial list of critical competencies that we will probe into:
- Quota attainment including examples of your largest new logo enterprise deals closed
- Experience selling clouding computing solutions (SaaS, IaaS and PaaS)
- Expertise in managing complex, global System Integrators and Managed Service Partners in a sell-with / sell-through model
- Ability to interact with technical buying influences and present to C-level decision makers
- Experience selling solutions comprising of consulting, implementation and training services
An additional requirement is travel of 30% and we have a strong preference for a four-year degree.
