The Startup Account Management team works at the cutting edge of fintech by partnering with founders and developers who are building the next generation of fintech services. As a Startup Account Manager, you’ll work with hundreds of early stage companies and be integral to their success with Plaid by helping them launch on the platform, collaboratively problem solve, and drive revenue growth through new product adoption.

Plaid. The right candidate has the ability to build strong relationships with their customers, develop a deep understanding of their priorities, motives and key drivers, is solutions oriented, and has demonstrated success taking initiative to drive results.
You will be the primary point of contact for your customers and will work with them on all stages of integrations, scaling, driving adoption, product expansion, and account management. You will be responsible for working directly with key stakeholders ranging from developers to executives to help them create the applications that will empower businesses and consumers with their financial data.
What Excites You
- Owning the relationship with your portfolio of customers in our largest customer segment (Startups).
- Building relationships with developers and founders to retain and grow revenue.
- Driving product upsells and leading the commercial negotiations for contract renewals.
- Helping customers integrate and launch on Plaid.
- Partnering with Marketing and Product teams to creatively problem solve and run experiments to maximize revenue and product adoption.
- Answering customer inbound questions, driving revenue and product adoption, and customer happiness.
- Working cross-functionally to develop and implement strategies that increase customer product adoption, engagement, and growth at scale.

$65,000 - $88,000 a year
Target base salary for this role is between $65,000 and $88,000 per year. Additional compensation in the form(s) of equity and/or commission are dependent on the position offered. Plaid provides a comprehensive benefit plan, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k). Pay is based on factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience and skillset, and location. Pay and benefits are subject to change at any time, consistent with the terms of any applicable compensation or benefit plans.
