This job is located in Denver, CO. This ideal candidate will partner with Account Executives to find, contact, and follow-up with prospective clients. Once they discover the client's needs, they will discuss our product's technological capabilities and business value with the client. The ideal candidate should be able to clearly articulate highly technical concepts to all prospective clients.
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years experience as a technical sales engineer in a cloud computing environment or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role.
- Experience in one of the following: cloud migration, disaster recovery, application/servers assessment and discovery.
- Experience in data center architectures and components.
Preferred qualifications
- Industry experience or experience working in a specialist area of technology.
- Experience in advanced areas of networking, software-defined networking, network virtualization, ideally as applicable to PaaS and IaaS technologies.
- Experience with deployment methodologies and technologies (e.g. Jira, GitLab, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc.).
- Knowledge of public cloud platforms and technical concepts such as PaaS, SaaS, IaaS, and related industry topics.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and be successful supporting customers across disparate industries.
- Google Cloud Certification

LucidPoint helps customers transform and evolve their business through Cloud and Hybrid solutions. As a Sales Engineer, you will work with the Sales team to introduce LucidPoint to our customers. You will help prospective, existing customers, and partners understand the value of LucidPoint, develop creative solutions, and architectures to solve their business challenges, and problem-solve any potential technical roadblocks. Some travel may be required for this role.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $139,000-$200,000 + bonus + benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
Responsibilities
- Recommend technology strategies, enterprise architectures, migration tools, and cloud infrastructure required to make LucidPoint customers successful. Solution sets will span both Cloud on premise environments with the core focus being around Google Cloud.
- Work with the Sales team to identify and qualify business opportunities, identify key customer technical objections, and develop a strategy to resolve technical blockers.
- Manage the technical relationship with LucidPoint’s customers, including managing product and solution briefings, proof-of-concept work, and the coordination of additional technical resources.
