Our clients are software, tech-enabled and services companies looking to recruit top talent. They rely on us to evaluate and upskill talent, readying them for a career in tech sales with our clients. Satellite offers comprehensive training through our intensive career accelerator program.
We’re interested in meeting with candidates looking to advance an existing sales career or break into sales for the first time. This is not for internal SDR roles at Satellite but is on behalf of our client roster.
The average Satellite candidate is earning an annual income of $80K at a high-growth tech company. A majority of our clients are offering remote SDR and BDR opportunities. We do also have clients hiring for hybrid positions.
SDR Responsibilities
The typical job requirements for an SDR include:
- Manage a high volume of daily outbound emails and calls to targeted accounts
- Develop targeted call lists
- Create personalized outreach in the form of emails and calls
- Utilize social selling techniques to expand network and open up new sales opportunities
- Process unqualified inquiries to pre-qualified opportunities
- Provide exceptional customer service to inbound inquiries from potential customers
- Document your activities within a customer relationship management (CRM) database such as Salesforce or HubSpot
You’ll be successful in this type of role if you have…
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
- Effective at using technologies in your day to day
- Strong verbal and writing skills
- Excellent listening and problem solving skills
- Experience with collaborating with others cross functionally in ambiguous situations
- Desire to be self-driven and/or competitive to perform at high levels within a team environment
- Methodical and organized as a remote team member
- Some client or customer facing experience in your background
- BA/BS degree - not required but often valued by our partners
