About the opportunity:
Sales Directors will play a vital role in continuing Wavelo’s fast-paced growth by generating business with new telecommunications customers. In this role, you’ll drive transformative change in your clients’ organizations by enabling them to innovate faster than ever before and providing their customers with a superior customer experience. This is a unique opportunity to build and scale an enterprise function in a large and growing market. You’ll work closely with a collaborative, driven, and solutions-oriented team.

What you'll be doing:
- Maximise your professional network of enterprise and mid-market customers, current client relationships, partner networks, and prospect leads to develop new business opportunities
- Map client organizations and build strong relationships with key decision-makers, executive sponsors, and influencers
- Deeply understand prospects’ problems. Play point in collaborating and coordinating with solutions engineers, product teams, and marketing to propose solutions that solve them
- Build opportunity funnel to meet or exceed sales quota
- Understand and explain the benefits of Wavelo’s solutions to solve customer problems
- Stay abreast of developments in telecom, such as 5G, iOT, and convergence
- Navigate complex sales cycles from prospecting to close with a track record of successful revenue attainment
What you bring:
- 10+ years demonstrated success in an enterprise “hunter” role selling software or technology solutions to the telecom industry
- Proven ability to tap into existing executive relationships and industry contracts to develop sales opportunities
- Experience leading complex B2B sales cycles for enterprise businesses and a track record of growing revenue year over year.
- Experience selling BSS/OSS solutions to tier 1/2/3 service providers, ISPs, and other industry sectors, such as billing, charging, or provisioning services
- Strong knowledge of telecom and networks and the competitive landscape

The base salary range for this position is $165,200 - $183,500. Range shown in $USD for US residents. Other countries will differ. Range may vary on a number of factors including, but not limited to: location, experience and qualifications.
