About This Role
We are looking for a talented and experienced Sales Development Representative to join our sales team. You will help us grow the market by researching and generating leads, booking meetings with prospective clients. You will report directly to our Asst Head of Sales and will be instrumental in the growth trajectory of the outbound sales team. This is a fully remote work position, based in US time zones.
Responsibilities
- Execute cold calling and email campaign strategies to qualify sales-ready leads
- Develop knowledge of the Optisigns product offering and market
- Participate in an enhanced career path and training program, preparing you to be the leader of the Sales Development Representative team
- Build a sales/lead pipeline with qualified opportunities for the sales team
- Consistently achieve qualified opportunity goals to ensure company revenue objectives are met
- Qualify outbound opportunities and develop a strong pipeline via phone and email communications
- Research accounts, identify key players, generate interest and develop accounts to stimulate opportunity
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience with a strong track record of performance in Sales role
- Strong presence on the phone overcoming objections as well as well-written communication
- Self-motivated with a hunger to be successful. We are a fast-growing company, and need people who will take initiative to “figure it out” and take ownership to be successful in the role
- Enjoy engaging executives in intelligent conversations about their business needs and closing them on having a meeting with an Account Executive
- Possess strong communications and interpersonal skills, with an engaging personality
- Meet or exceed sales quota consistently
- Native level English skills
