As a Business Development Representative, you’ll be the driving force behind our sales efforts, helping to expand our customer base and increase revenue for our innovative digital watermarking technology. You’ll use your keen analytical skills and your ability to connect with people to identify new business prospects and build relationships with potential clients leading to signed contracts.
What You Will Do…
- Generate new business pipeline by researching and identifying potential customers through understanding the market, their potential “pains”, and our product use cases
- Qualify inbound and outbound prospects while providing an exceptional experience
- Develop and nurture leads via phone, email, and social media
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, multithread various levels of contacts
- Staying up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competition to continuously refine your approach
- Work collaboratively with assigned Account Directors to maximize efforts and impact
- Create and refine new sales cadences via SalesLoft
- Meticulous CRM data hygiene
Requirements
- BS/BA Degree or equivalent experience required
- 1-2 years of experience as a Sales/Business Development Rep i.e., SDR or BDR
- Fluent communication skills, both written and oral, that are polished, concise, and accurate
- Ability to tailor your sales message to top levels of management in large corporations
- An assertive, affable, and upbeat phone presence
- Professional and personable, ready to turn on the Zoom camera for every call
- Open to new ideas and alternative perspectives, willing to quickly pivot, optimistic outlook
- Experience in a SaaS sales and/or startup environment
- Knowledge of MEDDPICC/MEDDIC, champions, and economic buyers
- Experience working with our tech stack including Salesforce, SalesLoft, Cognism, Gong, Microsoft Teams, Zoom Video, Sales Navigator, and Asana
- Familiar with data-driven insights and quickly adjusting
- Proven track record of success in a sales/business development role

A reasonable estimate of the current range is $45,000-55,000 plus commission. This compensation range considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill set, experience, training, licensure, certifications, geography and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
