For this project, our client is in the Marketing Technology Space (Social Media Management and Employee Advocacy).
Role:
- This is a hybrid BDR / AE role where you will be responsible for creating your own pipeline as well
- Manage any inbound leads from the different channels
- Quota ownership not just in numbers but quality of jobs
- Take initiatives to drive growth
- Be brutally honest with your work & team
Responsibilities:
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
- Contact cold clients through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn
- Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
- Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
- Run demos and a surgical sales process
- Manage quoting and contracting process
- Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and managers
- Report to the your manager on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
Requirements:
- At least 2 years as a BDR and 1 year as an Account Executive
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
- Experience with CRM software (Hubspot preferred)
- Familiarity with Google Suite
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations
- BONUS points for selling into the MarketingTech or SalesTech space
Benefits:
- This is a fully remote position!
- Base + Commission, $50k - $62k Base, $90k - $120k OTE with commission, but it's uncapped
