This ideal candidate will partner with Account Executives to find, contact, and follow-up with prospective clients. Once they discover the client's needs, they will discuss our product's technological capabilities and business value with the client. The ideal candidate should be able to clearly articulate highly technical concepts to all prospective clients.
Responsibilities
- Clearly articulate technical capabilities and give technical demonstrations to clients
- Identify potential leads
- Find and maintain prospective clients
- Provide general technical support to clients
- Survey existing field conditions, plans, and specification packages
- Assist in preparing estimates for opportunities
- Work with management to forecast sales pipeline and be accountable to sales targets
- Identify and understand the purchasing process of clients (budget cycles, responsible parties, how contracts are bid)
- Develop a scope of work for Design Build clients
- Independently work through entire sales process for the sale of new system installations and for maintenance agreements
- Document sales activities and formulate a sales process
- Facilitate communications between clients, internal team, subcontractors, and suppliers
Qualifications
- Ability to discuss highly technical concepts with prospective leads
- Willingness to travel
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Membership and regular participation in security industry associations
- Familiarity with IT infrastructure needed to support a physical security system (networks, servers, cloud environments, etc.)
- Ability to develop and deliver sales presentations
- 5 years of physical security and maintenance sales experience
