We are looking for a talented and results-driven Lead Sales Professional to join our team and help us expand our SaaS platform by acquiring new clients. This is an exciting full-time opportunity with an attractive compensation package and a chance to work with a supportive team of professionals.
As a Sales Director, your main responsibilities will be to build a sales team, develop and execute strategic plans, generate new leads using your existing network, and represent the company at events to develop and meet the company's sales objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Build and lead a sales team by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training to drive company sales goals.
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase revenue for the company's software products and services.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in potential and existing clients.
- Identifying new business opportunities and market trends, and developing strategies to capitalize on them.
- Conducting product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients to showcase the benefits and features of the company's software products.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as marketing, product development, and customer success to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Negotiating contracts and pricing with clients, and managing the sales cycle from initial contact to contract signing.
- Managing and maintaining accurate sales forecasts and reports to track progress and performance.
- Represent the company at industry events/trade shows and contribute to collateral/pitch development and plans for future growth of the company's prospects.
- Conduct live online product demos to demonstrate our platform’s functionality and features.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software sales or related fields, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex software products and services and articulate their value to clients.
- Proven negotiation and closing skills, with experience negotiating complex contracts and pricing agreements.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of the software industry, market trends and competitive landscape.
- Existing network within the lending industry.
- Working experience with credit bureaus and underwriting sales services.
- Understand industry-specific trends and landscapes, specifically dealing with large lenders, credit bureaus and financial institutions.
- Preferred - underwriting sales experience, dealing with large lenders using underwriting tools.
Compensation:
- $80,000 - $110,000 plus commission
