Description
Sinch Email, a Sinch company, is seeking a customer-facing hands-on Sales Engineer with a track record of success to join our growing team. As a Sales Engineer, you will represent Sinch Email to prospective customers. You will be developing a deep understanding of customer requirements in pre-sales conversations with Sales Executives, and develop a comprehensive solution on how Sinch Email will integrate with a customer's application to improve their email program.
This position will report directly to Sales Engineer Manager in Sales Enablement, and will be directly responsible for demonstrating our products and driving a tight feedback loop between what our customers needs and what we are building.

Responsibilities
- Engage with customers, partners, and prospects to diagnose email problems and propose solutions applying Sinch Email technologies.
- Expertly demonstrate Sinch Email products functionality and features while articulating the benefits and value.
- Build and implement account strategies and uncover additional sales and business opportunities.
- Partner with high velocity sales executives to respond to RFPs and technical questionnaires.
- Assist in crafting a product implementation plan, and answer technical questions about standard email methodologies.
- Train the sales teams on new product features and ensure the team is enabled to answer questions from prospects.
- Identify feedback on product improvements from prospects, and relay this information to the product management and engineering teams.
- Author content, in collaboration with Marketing, that describes the Sinch Email product in a way that is authentic and resonates with developers.
- Communicate Sinch Email's technical leadership and value at conferences by partnering with marketing to develop speaking proposals for conferences where Sinch Email should have a strategic presence.
Requirements
- Shown experience and success working in a customer-facing technical role
- Experience seeing the entire sales cycle from conception, to craft, to technology evaluation, to proof of concept, to implementation
- A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, with the ability to represent customers needs to our Product Team with the purpose of influencing our product roadmap
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: APIs, hosting services, email development, and real-time communications.
- A firm understanding of email integration standard methodologies, service oriented architecture and models for sharing IT services across the company.
- A world class communicator. Confident dispensing knowledge to a highly skilled and expert audience including C-level executives.
- Ability to switch context quickly throughout the day with numerous exciting tasks.
- Shown experience gathering and understanding customer business requirements
- Typically 10-25% travel, depending on role.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or a comparable field is preferred.
(*Colorado Only*) Annual on target earnings of $118,000 (94,400 + 23,600) + benefits.
