JOB DESCRIPTION
Climate Alpha is looking for a tech-savvy Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support our SaaS sales team. You’ll perform a vital role within our sales team developing outbound leads into qualified leads via emails, direct messages, and phone calls. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven candidate who aims to expand and sharpen their skills and advance professionally with a start-up SaaS company.
To be successful as an SDR, you need to be go-getter who wants to learn about, and be a part of, a best of breed sales process. You are excited to learn the ropes, have the diligence to get the job done, show your smarts, and move your way up the sales ladder.
Candidates must be willing to work US hours.
Sales Engineer Responsibilities
- Kick-start the sales process by prospecting potential customers; develop creative tactics, campaigns, and strategies to reach target prospects and generate qualified meetings/demos.
- Learn and demonstrate a fundamental understanding of Climate Alpha’s software and data to clearly articulate its capabilities and advantages.
- Prospect for new business opportunities using LinkedIn, Google and other prospecting tools.
- Work closely with our sales team to set meetings and drive sales.
Sales Engineer Requirements
- 1-3 years SaaS or B2B prospecting sales experience.
- A go-getter who is hungry, confident, curious, disciplined, and can work independently.
- Experience in climate technology, real estate, machine learning or financial services is required.
- You are persistent and resourceful.
- Experience working with a CRM (HubSpot a plus).
- Bachelor’s Degree Required.
