Our client is a software development company at the forefront of simulation technology for manufacturing. They are looking for a Sales Engineer to drive business growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing key relationships, and implementing sales strategy.
Responsibilities
- Perform the following sales activities: Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers.
- Generate new business for an assigned geographic area.
- Develop strong customer relationships at all levels.
- Deliver highly-tailored product demo's which illustrate a deep understanding of the prospective customer's challenges and how our clients solution can solve the problem.
- Provide technical expertise while answering relevant product questions.
- Create and present sales presentations.
- Execute defined sales strategy with a focus on net new business development.
- Grow and manage account base in assigned territory.
- Prepare quotes and customer implementation plans.
- Negotiate and close sales agreements.
- Represent the company and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the industry and competitive position of the company.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- 2 - 4 years of proven experience in Sales
- Experience in simulation/rendering software
- Willingness to work remotely and travel within defined region.
- Understanding of NC programming. Recent experience with or CAD/CAM a plus.
- Some knowledge of the following industries: Manufacturing, Aerospace, Automotive.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
