Endear is seeking an account executive with a passion for building relationships and helping both customers and leads solve problems. Our dream candidate is self-motivated and has an entrepreneur-like attitude towards their work. In this role, you will have a direct impact on the growth of Endear and will be involved in shaping the sales team and process. You will own your entire sales cycle from initial qualifying call the way through to sign-up, conversion, and expansion. You will report to members of the founding team and work cross-functionally with key department stakeholders including marketing and product. The right person for this role has experience in SaaS sales and a passion for working in start-up environments; Familiarity with the retail industry is a plus! In this role, you should expect to:
- Own the entire sales cycle including qualification, prospecting, nurturing, and closing.
- Execute demos of the Endear platform to qualified leads being sure to focus on their biggest pain points.
- Nurture opportunities to ensure you are providing everything they need through their decision-making process.
- Operate as an account manager for any accounts you close to be sure they are enjoying their experience and will continue using Endear and/or expand their usage of Endear.
- Make suggestions and improvements to the sales cycle including but not limited to our tools, pitch, and overall sales strategy
- Develop resources and assets to help enhance the sales process at Endear
- Work cross-functionally with product and marketing to ensure two-way feedback opportunities between your leads & customers and the corporate team
- Maintain an active role in customer support over chat, email, and phone when needed
Requirements
- 1-2 years experience in sales, preferably on a team selling software B2B.
- You're excited about both the flexibility and the challenge that comes with working for a start-up company.
- Self-starter who enjoys identifying and solving new business problems; never afraid to question the status quo.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with the ability to self-manage and prioritize tasks.
- Eager to learn and grow beyond this role by having an "all hands on deck" attitude.
