We are looking for a Solution Engineering Sr. Manager to join our T-Mobile Enterprise Application SES team. The Enterprise Application SES team helps businesses large and small, achieve their digital transformation and business goals by helping our customers realize value from the T-Mobile and partner solution areas like Security, Business Applications, Unified Communications, Data Protection, EMM/MDM and AI. This is a high visibility leadership role, where you will collaborate closely with other leaders to deliver cross-team, cross-product, and cross-organizational initiatives to help deliver world class solutions to our customers
Position Responsibilities
- Build, develop and lead experienced expert pre-sales team high performing teams through talent management, diversity and inclusion, coaching, and career development.
- Partner with sales leadership to achieve regional quota targets, our goals and ensure relationships are built.
- Interact with customers and prospects to understand their business challenges.
- Collaborate and maintain a close working relationship with product development, network engineering, sales, marketing and customer success.
- Clearly communicate information, knowledge transfer and ideas, to individuals and teams in an articulate, focused and compelling way.
- Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.
Position Qualifications
- Proven record in sales/solution engineering role, in a SaaS/cloud computing environment or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role. 10+ years
- Security Engineering/Consulting experience in SASE, Zero Trust Foundations, End-Point Protection, Hybrid and Multi-Cloud, Data Management and/or Software Defined solutions and architectures 2-4 years
- Unified Collaboration/UCaaS experience 2-4 years
- Experience with container environments such as Kubernetes, Google/Amazon/Azure Kubernetes Services 2 - 4 years
- Leader of Pre-Sales or Technical Consulting Team 2 - 4 years
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Techology, CyberSecurity, Engineering or a related field Required
- Masters/Advanced Degree Engineering, MBA, MIS preferred
- Excellent Communicator
- Strong negotiation, organizational, presentation, financial acumen, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple objectives, tasks and clients
- Proven impressive ability to find ways over, under, around & through barriers required
- Ability to create focused, collaborative, results-driven teams with internal and external partners
- Maintain positive, strong relationships with T-Mobile Solution Partners
- Ability to present topics in a clear and concise manner to many levels of technical skill sets and audience sizes
New York Pay Range $133,000 - $180,000
Washington Pay Range $135,660 - $183,500
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the state listed. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance, while Retail and Business Sales roles are eligible for monthly or quarterly sales incentives. And since we are ALL owners, EVERY employee at T-Mobile is eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
