We are looking for a talented, driven, and passionate leader to partner with Sales and Marketing management to scale and consolidate our inbound & outbound functions with the goal to standardize, simplify, and scale pipeline creation through inbound qualification and outbound prospecting at scale. We have a unique GTM motion that includes a high velocity land with high volume of qualified leads, as well as huge expansion in the Enterprise through targeted prospecting motion. It is critical for this role to drive how inbound SDRs create efficiency in processing and qualifying the high volume of leads generated everyday, which also building out a B2B Enterprise prospecting motion for targeted acquisition and expansion.
The Sales Development function is part of a rapidly growing business and the right candidate will be someone that understands how to apply the best practices of the most successful and innovative inbound and outbound teams to our business. You will be an agent of change by optimizing operational infrastructure and standardizing global processes to ensure everyone has the same high-performing sales methodology and success metrics .
How You’ll make an impact
- Lead a global team to achieve and exceed monthly SDR qualified opportunity goals for inbound qualification and outbound prospecting teams for new acquisition and existing business
- Build infrastructure and forecast modeling to determine targets, quota, compensation, and capacity planning to overachieve monthly targets
- Hire, onboard, train and manage Wrike’s team of SDRs and SDR Managers
- Inspire and motivate SDRs to exceed goals through coaching and incentives
- Optimize performance with implementation of plays and cadences for high volume lead qualification and outbound prospecting utilizing sales tools such as SFDC, Marketo, Groove sales cadences, Email Marketing, Outbound Calling, Data Mining and other selling tools to improve rep productivity
- Develop daily/weekly key performance metrics and dashboards that help the SDR focus on maximizing performance
- Work with Sales and Marketing leadership to optimize pipeline and revenue creation
- Understand our customers, industry, and products while analyzing customer requirements to be able to effectively capture prospects’ attention, create unique differentiation, and communicate Wrike’s value proposition
- Provide detailed analysis and reporting on team's performance as well as accurate forecasts based on SDR performance and historical trends
- Drive performance management and implement training/enablement to successfully decrease ramp time and increase productivity
- Develop career pathing plan and work with SDR Managers and sales leaders to develop SDR's for their next role in the organization
- Oversee the team’s recruiting, hiring, and training program in-office locations based on SDR capacity planning
You will achieve your best if you have
- BA/BS degree (MBA preferred)
- Must have prior SDR management experience
- 10+ years sales experience with 3+ years experience managing inbound/outbound qualification teams
- Global leadership experience a plus
- Previous experience working in high volume software sales preferred
- Passion for prospecting and sales best practices
- Proven ability to coach and drive positive team momentum in a changing sales environment as we grow as a company
- Results oriented with strong decision-making skills and the ability to prioritize multiple objectives while meeting aggressive deadlines
- History of collaborating with internal stakeholders to develop and implement programs and process
