Director of Sales
Our client the leading Ethics & Compliance Association is looking for a Director of Sales. You will:
Report to the CEO, sit on the Executive Team, define and execute the sales plan, act as a player/coach selling memberships and advisory services.
You will build the sales infrastructure, define the sales program and policies, put in place the metrics and measures to achieve revenue goals.
You will work with marketing to create sales materials, establish messaging and positioning.
You will supervise 2 team members today and grow the organization over the time
Profile:
- 10+ years in B2B Sales – ideally have sold memberships, and advisory services.
- Player/coach role
- Have built the sales infrastructure for a start-up or small technology company.
- Experienced recruiting, mentoring, and managing sales and business development representatives.
- Assertive leader personality operating with a sense of urgency, passion, and commitment to sales excellence.
- MEDDIC, Force Management, Challenger, or similar sales methodology
- Sold to C level executives in Fortune 500 accounts.
- Revenue/Profit mindset
- High volume, transactional sales model
- Remote with preference for Washington DC, Maryland, or Virginia
