Responsibilities:
Create a sales pipeline for North America with a focus on the Broadband Access portfolio.
Develop and cultivate strategic relationships with Communication Service Providers.
Deliver strategic account plans, based on available research and an understanding of the
competitive landscape that will effectively position Client into accounts which do not currently
leverage our products or services.
Qualify business opportunities, create and deliver sales presentations, and negotiate and close
agreements.
Responsible for accurate and timely business projections and capable of navigating complex,
multi-faceted sales – both vertically and horizontally.
Be an evangelist of our solution by speaking and blogging utilizing all available platforms like
webinars, social media, industry trade shows etc.
Expected to meet or exceed set business objectives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree is required. Advanced degree a plus
Minimum of 10+ years Business Development and/or Sales in the telecom, networking, and IT
industries
Proven background in developing relationships with key decision makers and influencers
including experience in closing large technology or service deals
Significant market contacts at Tier 2 and Tier 3 operators and technical knowledge and
experience selling to carriers
Knowledge and deep experience with Fixed line broadband domain (FTTx, PON, OLT, ONT, BNG,
L2, L3, OSS/BSS etc)
Knowledge and experience with cloud native, virtualization, and convergence of access
technologies
Knowledge and experience around Mobile broadband (4G/5G/IoT/virtual and centralized
RAN/SmallCells) is a plus
System Integration experience is a plus – working with 3rd parties and taking ownership of the
product lifecycle regardless of Client/vendor provided solutions.
Strong customer facing skills and the ability to travel up to 60% with some trips on short notice
due to business needs.
Proven ability to read situations, think strategically, formulate comprehensive account plans and
drive relationships vertically and horizontally.
Ability to provide and work from a home office located in the region.
Travel: Ability to travel up to 60% to support globally based customers
