About the role:
As an Account Executive at Breadstack, you’ll be responsible for cold calling, pitching, and selling our suite of software products to prospects. You are a great relationship builder and thrive in a disruptive sales environment. You will convince prospects that Breadstack is a far superior platform then what’s currently in the market. You will own the full sales cycle from the first point of contact to the closed deal.
This is a great opportunity to progress your sales journey with a fast growing SaaS startup based in Burnaby. The ideal candidate is comfortable with wearing multiple hats and will work closely with the CEO, Product Marketing and Engineering teams. The candidate will develop new B2B Sales opportunities and will manage the sales process from discovery, solution overview, negotiation to close. They will engage with the clients after onboarding to ensure success and follow up on any further needs. The candidate should have experience working in a startup environment.
Responsibilities:
- Be the expert on Breadstack suite of products, leveraging your customer obsession and product knowledge to pitch and close B2B prospects
- Own your success from cold calls to administrative tasks to closing deals
- Follow up with prospects throughout the sales cycle to ensure needs are being met
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified prospects/opportunities
- Coordinate the outbound sales process from start to finish; collaborating with various internal departments to create client recommendations and solutions
- Update and maintain communications and client data in the CRM
- Provide regular updates, respond to inquiries, and address any client concerns in a timely manner
- Presenting and demonstrating the value of products and services to prospective buyers
- Be an expert at overcoming objections and negotiations with customers
- Conducting qualified software demonstrations alongside our product specialists

Our Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Economics, or any related field
- 5+ years of sales experience (BDR, SDR, AE) with a track record in a disruptive sales environment
- Has an experience nurturing B2B accounts
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills both in person and on the phone/remotely
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of a role, with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated ability to actively manage multiple tasks
- Must be a goal oriented, persuasive, self-motivated and independent
- Ability to find high-opportunity deals with a focus on uncovering a lead’s needs
- Strong work ethic and commitment to do what it takes to be successful in sales
- Has an exceptional consultative selling and closing skills
- A sharp focus on their goals and a belief that their daily, weekly and monthly activities will help achieve them
Pluses:
- Experience with eCommerce platform either by managing an eCommerce store or with eCommerce customer success in some capacity
- Sales experience in upselling professional services
