One of our clients, an innovative, entrepreneurial, cloud-based software company is searching for a Sales Director to join their team!
As the Sales Director, you will be responsible for managing a team of sales representatives and achieving the team’s sales targets. In this role, you will provide coaching and mentorship to your team, develop sales strategies, and manage customer relationships. You will also be responsible for generating new business opportunities and maintaining existing client relationships.
Please note that experience within Software or SaaS is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets by developing and executing effective sales strategies
- Train, coach, and motivate team members to improve performance and meet individual and team goals
- Monitor team performance against KPIs and objectives, providing feedback and coaching to ensure continuous improvement
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with team members to discuss progress, identify development needs, and set goals
- Develop strong relationships with customers, understanding their specific needs and requirements
- Respond to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Proactively seek out new sales opportunities through networking and market research
- Prepare accurate and detailed reports on sales activity, pipeline, and forecast
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to ensure the team is selling the most current and relevant products and services
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, as well as all applicable laws and regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or related field
- 10+ years proven sales experience
- 5+ years management/leadership experience
- Proven track record of achieving quotas and goals
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems
