About The Role
BiggerPockets is looking for a Media Account Executive to drive new revenue growth for our media network reaching millions of new and experienced real estate investors per month. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional to sell solutions to new and existing regional and national advertisers.
Your Key Responsibilities Include
- Acquire, build, and cultivate new relationships with senior leadership at advertising agencies and brands investing in podcast and email marketing solutions
- Develop lapsed or existing relationships to re-introduce BiggerPockets products to marketers across the United States
- Build a high-quality pipeline of accounts and cultivate a deep understanding of client buying habits and marketing needs.
- Accurately forecast monthly revenue
- Using knowledge of the market and BiggerPockets' competitive differentiators in a dynamic omnichannel advertising landscape, sell the value of the BiggerPockets media network by clearly and creatively communicating our high-value audience demographics and engagement metrics
- Identify and close strategic up-selling opportunities by understanding core client business needs
- Be able to work comfortably with all levels of a marketing organization and/or agency including C-level
- Take the lead in responding to RFPs or new agency and brand opportunities, including qualification & win strategy
- Execute on a strategic plan to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals with the ability to forecast your monthly sales revenue with a high level of accuracy
- Participate in sponsored content development discussions based on client needs with the media team
- Positively contribute to the BiggerPockets company culture with a spirit of strong entrepreneurial work ethic, kindness, and collaboration
About You
- Bachelor’s Degree required and a minimum of 5 years of experience in digital advertising and outbound sales
- Experience at a podcast publisher, online publisher, agency, marketing technology or other online advertising company
- Knowledge of the podcast marketing ecosystem strongly preferred
- Ability to speak fluently on media, marketing, and advertising related concepts/topics (e.g. reach, frequency, CPMs, consumer journey, etc.)
- Strong hunting experience with new and existing accounts
- Experience in managing longer sales cycles with multiple partners
- Self-starter – able to tackle new clients or territories with little mentoring
- Quick learner – able to rapidly grasp new technology and product changes
- Comfortable working cross-functionally to collaborate and grow an account
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with C-level clients
- Existing relationships with decision-makers at advertising agencies and brands
- Strong quantitative skills and negotiations ability
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue expectations
Location
Compensation
- This is a salary plus sales commission role. The base salary for this role is $60,000 plus sales commission. Potential annual commission is $40,000+.
- On target compensation potential for this role is $100,000 plus benefits.
