What You Will Be Doing?
We are looking for a Strategic Account Manager to support and focus on developing new business with enterprise retail accounts.
In this role, you will be responsible for sales strategy, client relationships, opportunity development, forecasting and driving superior NPS metrics. You will develop and execute a strategic business plan that meets or exceeds established sales goals and supports company revenue and profitability targets. You will establish and build influential relationships with client decision makers at management and C-suite levels.
Main Activities and Responsibilities
- Understand SES-imagotag’s vision, strategic priorities, and capabilities
- Develop new business across enterprise retail
- Analyze and understand customer’s business strategy and future product innovation plans
- Accurately articulate customer’s requirements: identify and secure appropriate subject matter experts, create, lead, and ensure accountability across deal specific collaborative teams, and provide company support and products to meet ongoing customer requirements or requests
- Work closely with the team to manage each account for maximum margin and revenue growth and communicate these metrics to all levels of internal and external management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as solutions architects, engineering, legal, business operations, marketing, and finance to ensure internal preparation
- Collaborate with internal teams and executives to provide negotiation agreements and recommendations
- Build on developing pipeline while maintaining relationships with current customers
- Attend conferences and trade show events to promote our service solutions and provide feedback on market trends
- Maintain CRM system regularly and lead Net Promoter initiatives

What’s Required?
- Possesses a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in technology related business development
- A bachelor’s degree in relevant field (engineering, business, etc.)
- Direct sales in a ‘hunter’ role within enterprise ‘Tier 1’ retail industry
- Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and communicate technical summaries, financial reports, and legal documents
- Ability to communicate account sales strategy as well as planning and execution including solution selling methodologies
- Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and sales targets
- Timely respond to common inquiries, requests, or complaints from customers
- Willingness to travel
- Proficiency in use of personal computers and Microsoft Suite
- Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, and highly organized
- An analytical and metrics-driven work style
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
