The primary responsibility of the Production (Sales) Assistant is to work collaboratively with and support the PA Sales Team throughout the new business process.
JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate the Underwriting Submissions, Survey & Analysis and Proposal process (including typing, dictation, copying and binding). Work with team to finalize all documents.
- Coordinate the S&A policy process.
- Maintain and update documents in all relevant systems.
- Maintain Graham workflow process.
- Handle phone calls and mail.
- Schedule appointments, handle catering, travel arrangements and submitting time and/or expense reports for team.
- Pursue a program for personal and professional development.
- Perform other duties and projects that may include researching prospects, dictation, training peers, assisting other units.
- Attend meetings relating to position.
- A high school diploma with 3 years of administrative and insurance broker experience.
- High proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Excellent spelling and grammar skills.
- Ability to exercise independent judgement, discretion and confidentiality.
- High level of organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to perform under pressure.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient in Graham standard computer applications.
- Regular and predictable attendancein accordance with the limitations and reporting procedures established by The Graham Company from time to time.
