Overview
Meadow is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven AVP Campus Partnerships, Meadow Price to join our growing sales team. This is a unique opportunity to become an early member of an exciting high-growth technology startup and help build it from the ground up.
As AVP Campus Partnerships, Meadow Price, you will be at the forefront of driving revenue growth for our modern net price calculator. You will be responsible for establishing strong relationships with colleges and universities and owning the end-to-end sales pipeline – from initial contact to close. Your role is critical to our continued early success and ensuring that Meadow Price continues its rapid growth.
Responsibilities
- Sales Strategy and Execution: Refine and execute the Meadow Price sales playbook to meet and exceed both short-term and long-term revenue targets.
- Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers, including university Directors of Financial Aid, VPs of Enrollment Management and Directors of Admissions
- Product Expertise: Act as a product expert for Meadow Price, providing in-depth knowledge and demonstrations that showcase the value and impact of our solution.
- Industry Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of our customers, their workflows and challenges. Serve as a thought leader in the higher education financial aid space, representing Meadow at industry events, conferences, and in thought leadership content.
- Negotiation and Closing: Lead contract negotiations, ensuring that both the client’s needs and Meadow’s goals are met, and successfully close deals that drive revenue growth.
- Internal Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, CX and product to align messaging, market feedback, and product improvements that enhance our sales efforts.
- Market Research and Outreach: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to adapt sales strategies and identify new opportunities for Meadow Price
- Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate sales forecasts, track progress against targets, and report on key performance metrics to the leadership team.
About You
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise (B2B) sales, in higher education
- Has sold to Director of Financial Aid, VP of Enrollment Management or Director of Admissions within higher education
- Strong negotiation abilities with a track record of closing high-value deals in a competitive B2B environment with longer sales cycles.
- You have a natural ability to connect with people, understand their needs, and build trust-based relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and compelling way.
- You are an extremely tenacious, persistent, and strategic thinker that is motivated by achieving targets and taking initiative to drive the sales process forward.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data for decision-making (bonus if you are familiar with Hubspot!)
Compensation and Benefits
This is a full-time position reporting to Meadow’s Chief Operating Officer. Meadow wants all employees to be supported in their personal and professional development, so we take a comprehensive approach to compensation and benefits. The initial on-target earnings (OTE) for this position is expected to range from $200K-350K. This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary for a NY-based position. Actual compensation will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, knowledge and skills, qualifications, location, and other job-related factors.
