ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Serve as an advocate and liaison for The Custom Companies' top clients to ensure overall customer satisfaction
Expand assigned customer accounts through ongoing relationship development
Communicate with internal departments to secure the terms of sale, including negotiating rates, identifying carriers and procuring the right equipment for our customers’ needs
Ensure the integrity of the shipment by communicating both internally and externally while following standard processes and procedures
Work frequently with the Carrier Procurement team to ensure the shipper, consignee, or customer are aware of any challenges or issues that may arise
Provide support to your Territory Sales Manager by quoting customers on services.
Track and update shipment status to customers to provide superior service

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES, AND EXPERIENCE:

2+ years of experience in business development, sales, logistics, or customer relations
Ability to service multimillion-dollar accounts and support the new and existing sales opportunities
Prior transportation experience needed
Ability to establish, cultivate and maintain working relationships with clients, vendors and team members
Ability to problem solve and handle high pressure situations in a timely manner
Mange complex transactions promptly and professionally
Exude drive, assertiveness, passion and dedication to your assigned customers
Excellent and effective communication skill
