Contact lens wearers often complain of discomfort and inconvenience, while eye care practitioners are often frustrated by their inability to provide a comfortable solution for their contact lens patients that lasts all day.

This position is responsible for generating leads, advancing the sales process, closing of new business, and achieving or assisting in the achievement of opportunities within existing accounts. The Inside Sales /Account Manager will identify leads and reach business targets through telephone, email, and webinars. This individual will target Eye Care Practitioners and other eye care professionals to provide education on the Tangible Science brand and all Tangible products and partnership opportunities.

Responsibilities

Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and prospective customers (this is achieved by following up on inbound leads and on current account opportunities and marketing campaigns.
Identify decision makers within targeted leads and accounts to begin the sales process.
Collaborate with various internal departments to ensure the customer’s needs are met.
Receive inbound calls to effectively answer questions from practitioners regarding the company brand and products and convert into sales leads and opportunities by cross and up selling.
Overcome objections by professional sales questioning, product positioning and effective delivery of product features and benefits targeting the needs of the prospective customer.
Ensure follow-up by logging all interactions in CRM.
Present periodic reports regarding sales activities as requested by Supervisor.
Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the CRM.
Deliver primed opportunities to other team members for close of sale if needed.
Set up and deliver sales presentations and product education via virtual platforms
When necessary, support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

5+ years experience in contact lens related inside sales and account management
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Effective communication skills; verbal and written
Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent organizational and time management skills
