About the Role:

SEDDI is seeking a highly motivated Junior Account Executive to perform sales activities with small to medium sized entities for the company’s suite of products, beginning initially with SEDDI Textura, our textile digitization solution. This role will bridge sales and marketing goals and play an essential part in building sales pipeline and achieving company revenue goals. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and outbound target prospect lists, demoing SaaS products, and meeting sales quotas. This is primarily a remote role, with the ability to meet in person monthly with fellow SEDDI team members located in Halifax, Nova Scotia.

Responsibilities Include:

Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
Contact potential customers through emails and cold calls
Researching prospects and customizing outreach to create targeted, engaging messaging
Conduct introductory calls with prospects and further qualify opportunities by applying SEDDI’s BANT parameters
Identify customer needs and suggest appropriate products/services
Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
Set up meetings and conduct product demos and sales pitches
Support customers through the buying process and close deals
Report to internal stakeholders on weekly/monthly/quarterly results
Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
Follow up with customers post sale and work to expand and renew accounts

Requirements and Skills:

B.A. degree or equivalent
1-3 years of proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Development Representative, Account Executive or a similar role
Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
Track record of achieving sales quotas
Experience with CRM software (e.g. Hubspot)
Familiarity with MS Excel/Google Sheets (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
Understanding of sales performance metrics
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to deliver engaging presentations
Located in Nova Scotia, with the ability to work remotely
