This position can be based in Clemmons, NC, North Kingstown, RI or Rockville, MD.

The Commercial Aquatics Sales Engineer will drive our relationship with aquatic designers, architects, engineers, and design-build companies, ensuring Hayward products are the preferred choice for specifiers and customers. The position will empower Hayward’s unmatched field sales and technical services teams with an additional level of expertise in the commercial equipment realm and collaborate closely with our Aquatics Design Engineer. The role reports directly to the General Manager of our Commercial Aquatics business unit.

Responsibilities:
Working closely with key aquatic designers to ensure that Hayward products are specified as first choice or considered as equal to competitive specified products
Collaborating with our sales team to convert and support design-build companies
Developing technical training materials and instructing prospects, customers and the sales team on our portfolio
Providing a layer of commercial expertise to support our industry-leading field sales and technical service teams in winning business
This position requires approximately 50% travel
Qualifications:
At least 2 -4 yrs experience
Degree in engineering and/or business with technical acumen
Positive technical sales history
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software

Preferred:

Understanding of hydraulics and water chemistry
