Under the direction of the VP of Sales - National Accounts, the National Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing our sales in the southern region. This person will also target many other strategic retail customers in the C-store chain within the assigned region.

Candidates must reside in Texas, Georgia, or Florida to be considered for this role.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions

Develops, maintains, and improves client relationships in the southern region.

Manages strategic relationships with Publix, Circle K, RaceTrac, Food Lion and many other specified retail customers.
Maintains high-level customer contact and drives execution through our nationwide DSD network.
Develops and maintains a solid business relationship with key decision-makers within the account, focusing on merchant & replenishment level.
Utilizes the pre-call planning process prior to all calls to ensure sound financial decision making.
Manages brokers and accounts to optimize services while maintaining the primary relationship with the customer.
Conducts joint business planning reviews with customer to update them on progress of mutually agreed upon objectives, KPIs, and scorecards.

Responsible for driving and execution of the business plan & fiscal budgeting.

Owns accurate and timely sales forecasting to support organizational goals by forecasting, reporting, and analyzing market trends monthly.
Responsible for the implementation & maintenance of the annual customer business planning & fiscal budgeting targets.
Maintains a thorough understanding of the business and operational strategies designated to them.
Manages territory P&L and delivers agreed upon volume and market share objectives. Manages chargebacks, deductions, and unsaleables to Company standards.

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree, preferred.
5-10 years of sales experience, and Publix and/or HEB account responsibilities
Strong analytical thinking
Ability to work in a dynamic environment with competing priorities
Efficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to travel 50% of the time
