Position Summary: The Strategic Account Manager plays a crucial role in fostering and maintaining relationships with strategic partners and referral sources to drive business growth. This role involves prospecting for referrals, managing relationships within a CRM system, and ensuring that referrals are properly tracked and managed. The Strategic Account Manager is responsible for meeting specific performance targets and expectations set by the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Prospecting and Relationship Development:

Identify potential referral sources and relationships to pursue business growth.
Collaborate with the Southeast Restoration Market Development Manager to establish a clear plan for relationship development for the following internal roles.
District Directors
District Mitigation and ES Directors
Emergency Response Chief
Pre-Production Manager
Mitigation Manager
Operations Manager
Estimators
Attend all SRG huddles and meetings where appropriate.
Provide clarity on the standard expectations of the location.
Partner with the SRG team to ensure consistency between messaging and reality.

2. Project Management:

Monitor and track projects within SRG Proven CRM.
Work with Coordinators at SRG and POGA to ensure effective communication.
Scope-walk and provide accurate and timely documentation to insured, adjuster, SRG and POGA.
Produce consistent reporting as it pertains to goals and expectations.
Utilize the tools and resources provided in a consistent and disciplined manner.
Focus on serving referral sources to enhance the experience of partnering with us to care for policyholders. Advocate internally on the referral sources’ behalf as needed.
“Own” the jobs referred to add real value to the referral source and ensure a quality experience for the customer. (Proactively seek out information regarding job status and engage with team members if needed to ensure the customer is being served with excellence. Provide timely updates to referral sources.)

3. Emergency Services:

Coordinate and participate in an Emergency Service-On Call team to support the efforts of SRG Mitigation and Board up teams.
Be available after hours for contact and possible site visits on a rotating basis.

4. CRM Management / Market Development:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of relationships and interactions within Proven CRM.
Ensure that data is current and that relationships are properly managed according to plan expectations.
Conduct ongoing market analysis and opportunity assessment within current service areas and analyze market opportunity in perspective service areas.

5. Performance and Compensation Requirements:

Work with General Manager (GM) to ensure execution and ACCOUNTABILITY.
Establish annual revenue goal ($) for the location with GM.
Establish a two-way accountability between the Strategic Account Manager and the GM.
Guide and coach, the POGA team in the activities that will help the Strategic Account Manger hit their goal(s).
Hold yourself accountable to execution of the established expectation standards.
Meet quarterly (at a minimum) with GM to evaluate effectiveness of the locations strategy and make any necessary adjustments to achieve goals.
Meet or exceed performance expectations and goals as defined in the compensation plan.

6. Incentive Structure:

Receive quarterly incentives, in addition to the base compensation, based on 4% of Gross Margin Dollars for invoiced jobs less any bad debt or adjuster revisions.
Incentives are paid for projects established and originated from your work and communicated properly within our CRM tracking tool.
Projects called into POGA from SRG directly will not be counted as a sold sale for the Strategic Account Manager incentive calculations.

7. Work Location:

The intent of this role is to be primarily embedded in the day-to-day activities of the SRG North Metro location estimated to be 20-30 hours per week.
The Strategic Account Manager will also need to establish and maintain a working relationship with the POGA team and be present for necessary activities an estimated 10-20 hours per week.
The exact schedule will be dictated by the needs of both organizations to support SRG North Metro growth plans.

8. Plan Evaluation and Adjustments:

Participate in the annual review and potential adjustment of the referral incentive plan.
Provide input and feedback for improvements as necessary.

Proven leader within complex organization/industry with self-driven results.
Ability to lead oneself and strategic sales or operations team with effective results.
Proven experience in relationship development, business development, or sales.
Strong organizational and CRM management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
